The Pension Protection Fund (PPF) announced today that Liz Woolman has joined its Board as a Non-Executive Director.

PPF Chair, Kate Jones said: “I’m delighted that Liz will be joining the Board. This is an important time for the PPF as we enter the next phase of our journey with a new strategic plan and fresh challenges. With continued digital transformation as one of our key priorities, while improving the experience for our members and levy payers and driving effectiveness, Liz’s experience of the technology sector will be invaluable.

“Her significant executive career at the BT Group saw her leading digital transformations, introducing innovative new products and services to benefit the customer and launching new systems and platforms. The breadth of Liz’s commercial experience across multiple industries, when combined with her more recent non-executive roles in the financial services and pensions sectors, brings a unique combination of diverse and relevant experience to our Board. We are constantly striving to learn from other sectors as we continue to build on the strong foundations we’ve already established."

Liz Woolman commented: “I’m delighted to be joining the PPF Board at this exciting time and look forward to contributing to their important work and ongoing transformation. These are challenging times for many and I look forward to sharing my expertise and knowledge  to help ensure the PPF continues to deliver for all those who rely on its support.”
