April 2020
D&B begin to calculate insolvency scores
Scoring under the new methodology expected to start
In April, we expect scoring to start with D&B under the new methodology for 2021/22 levy calculations. April’s score will be the first of twelve monthly scores used to generate your mean score used to calculate the levy.

Last date to self-submit data to D&B
This data will be used in generating scores for April 2020
Self-submit data to D&B by 30 April 2020 for use in generating scores for April 2020. Usually, any self-submitted data needs to be received by D&B the month before scores are generated. To help schemes and employers, we have extended this for April 2020.

Give feedback on policy for the 2021/22 levy year
You'll be able to review and give your feedback on policy for the 2021/22 levy year that relates to how we calculate the levy. We'll be publishing details of this new consultation on this site.

Final levy rules for the 2021/22 levy year will be published
This helps inform your levy for 2021/22
The final levy rules for 2021/22 will guide how we'll calculate invoices issued in Autumn 2021.
March 2021
Final monthly scores on our portal
Last monthly scores used for 2021/22 levy calculations
In April, D&B will issue the final monthly insolvency risk scores for the 21/22 levy year. The 12 monthly scores produced between April and March will be used to generate employer mean scores in July. After this, insolvency risk scores will be generated by D&B.

Send scheme returns and contingent asset certificates to TPR
This helps make sure your levy is accurate
If you’re required to send us documents, including Guarantor Strength Reports, they’ll need to be emailed to us by 5pm on 1 April 2021.

Send ABC certificates and special category applications to us
This helps make sure your levy is accurate
Submit your ABC certificates to us by midnight on 31 March 2021. We also need all special category employer applications, including confirmation of no changes, submitted before midnight on 31 March 2021.

Deficit reduction contributions certificates to TPR
This helps make sure your levy is accurate
Submit deficit reduction contributions certificates to the TPR exchange by 5pm on 30 April 2021.

Send exempt transfer applications to us
This helps make sure your levy is accurate
Submit exempt transfer applications to us, along with supporting evidence, by 5pm on 30 April 2021.

Certify full block transfers with TPR
This helps inform your levy for 2021/22
Certify full block transfers on the TPR exchange system or – in limited circumstances – send them to us by 5pm on 30 June 2021.
July 2021
Mean scores published with D&B
These scores will be used to calculate your 21/22 levy invoice
In July 2021, D&B will publish your final mean score. We'll use this to calculate your levy for 21/22. In the meantime, make sure you check your score and the data D&B holds.
Autumn 2021
Invoicing starts
These invoices cover the 21/22 levy year
We'll start issuing the first invoices for the 21/22 levy year in autumn 2021. All invoices must be paid within 28 days of receipt.
