In the 2022/23 financial year, we invested in a loan to finance the construction of a state-of-the-art office building in the business district of Bristol.

The seven-storey property is expected to have a net internal area of 200,000 sq ft and the capacity to host more than 2,000 employees.

At the time of the loan, this building was one of only two buildings under construction in the UK regional cities that was targeting net zero carbon in operation, a BREEAM Outstanding rating for sustainability standards and an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) A rating.

These classifications will place the building at the forefront of sustainable offices in the UK.
