Do work you're proud of when you find your next job with us

The work we do is important and we're proud of making a real and positive difference in people's lives.

Our talented colleagues and award-winning teams are committed to delivering excellent service for our members, whilst ensuring we continue to provide protection to members of defined benefit pension schemes now and in the future.

If you don’t see what you’re looking for in our current vacancies, please get in touch with our recruitment team by sending a speculative application as an opportunity may come up soon.

Rewards

We're proud to offer excellent rewards and collect regular feedback from colleagues to make sure that we're providing value.

As everyone’s needs for benefits are different, we offer a flexible benefits package where you can choose what is important to you.

We have a choice of pension schemes to join, including a Defined Benefit Civil Service Pension option.

So, if its Private Medical Cover for the family, a gym membership, Critical Illness cover or Dental Insurance, the choice is yours.

Culture

As an organisation that is constantly striving to create a diverse and inclusive culture, our colleagues are committed to demonstrating our 'iCare' values.

These values shape our culture and we celebrate them twice a year, with colleagues nominating their peers to win awards in recognition of their contributions.

  • Integrity: Doing the right thing
  • Collaboration: Working as one
  • Accountability: Owning our actions and their outcomes
  • Respect: Valuing every voice
  • Excellence: Being our best

We have several diversity and inclusion initiatives, such as our employee-led community groups, that aim drive positive change in our organisation. We're also signatories of the Race at Work charter and the Women in Finance charter, as well as being an accredited Disability Confident Leader.

Apprenticeships

The apprenticeships we offer can be done at various levels from entry level up to a Master’s degree. Our apprenticeship programmes offer challenging roles within a supportive business environment, and there's plenty of opportunities for personal development and skills training.

For our entry level apprenticeships, we look for the right attitude and behaviours rather than work experience.

By growing our own diverse talent through our apprenticeship programmes, we're tackling our gender and ethnicity pay gaps.

Everyone has gone above and beyond to make me feel welcome and to accommodate any reasonable adjustments I might need.

My team supports me to perform in my job, but also my learning. I go to college each Wednesday and then work in the pension administration team every other day of the week. The skills I’m learning on my apprenticeship are really useful.

In his blog, Andy discusses his experience of becoming an apprentice after being made redundant at 56, job hunting as someone with a disability and why he would recommend an apprenticeship.
